#ZoneKids is one of the many weekly ministries that we have here at the #YWAMSDM campus of #ywamsdb. This ministry goes out into the red light district of downtown Tijuana to share God's love with the children living in that area. The missionaries and students that go out each Tuesday afternoon are truly bringing hope to these kids lives. Many of them don't go to school, have parents that are addicts or prostitutes or dealers but all of them need God's love. Our amazing leaders are not only working toward building relationship and trust with these guys but hoping to shape their lives so they can have a bright future!
Each week our missionaries, volunteers and students plan and prep games and object lessons that teach character, love, spiritual principles and hope to these children. Alongside of Zone Kids, some of our moms and other leaders have started a Bible Study and Mom's group with the parents of some of these kids. These moms are learning how to love their children and give them the best chance in the world. They are hearing that with God, they are enough!! While this is all going on, another group are walking around the streets of Zona Norte (the red light district in downtown Tijuana) praying and sharing God's love with anyone they feel led to. We have seen people come to the know the Lord, people who've been healed, people who have dropped their bottle or needle for good, and the softening of hearts through these times of prayer. We've also seen hope shine in the eyes of the men & women who work in this area and we've seen minds change for those coming to look for a "good time". God is doing AMAZING things in this area!!

Here are some of the many children we love ministering to at Zone Kids! This is just a small portion of the kids that attend each week. Lift these sweet children of the Lord up in prayer with us as we disciple and share the love of Jesus with them. How can you be a part of this amazing ministry?

2. Commit to PRAY every week for this ministry and the missionaries that lead it. They head out every Tuesday afternoon around 3:00 PM Pacific Time (5:00 PM Central). Take a moment in the car on your way home from work (for those on the Eastern side of the US) to pray for them.
3. Join us by VOLUNTEERING! Come down and experience this ministry for yourself. Go out and be a part of it physically. If you are interested in doing this, it's simple. Just email [email protected] for more info.
4. Consider supporting me monthly with a financial gift. As with any support, your monthly donation goes towards the ever expanding kingdom of God and helping you stay connected to those on the ground. If you can't be here physically, consider supporting someone who is.
