I really hate being vulnerable! I mean who doesn't! Being vulnerable means that you are opening yourself up to the unknown & in your mind it is usually not going to be very good! There is the fear of rejection, the fear of laughter & humiliation, the fear of man! Who wants to deal with that?!? What I've found, however, is in times when I'm asked by The Lord to be vulnerable, and I obey, He has something wonderful in store! Yes, it's still scary but always fulfilling & life changing when it's all over & done with!
So, here I am, being vulnerable! Maybe you call it humble. I am putting myself out there, being completely honest with you, yet again! Thinking, "please don't hurt me".

One of the many jobs I have around here is the occasional photographer for a Homes of Hope build. I get to capture the life that happens around a house build and document those memories for the teams that come down to build for these families in need.
I am in some financial need again this month! I just received my monthly support check and after my staff fees (which cover food, rent & basic utilities) were taken out, I'm left with $30. I had a very generous donation ($100) this month from my dad's home church that went towards purchasing some much needed supplies & I still have a bit of that left. Looking at my expenses for the upcoming month, I know that I will not have enough to cover them all & certainly not any emergencies or unexpected ones!
For the immediate need, I'm looking for people to come alongside me & help cover these expenses that will be around $200. Any amount helps & should be given via paypal (sherilbrasher@mac) and this is NOT tax-deductible.
I am also looking for several people to commit to partnering with me by giving monthly to help make up for a few supporters who have withdrawn their support for various reasons (most of which because of their own financial struggles) and the increase in our staff fees a few months back. I need to raise my monthly support by about $400. Again, any amount helps reach that goal. If 20 people have $20 a month, or 10 gave $40 a month or 5 gave $80 or 4 gave $100 or 2 gave $200 every month, the goal would be met. Or any configuration! Please pray about this and ask GOD if you should be a part of this amazing journey with Him! I'm just along for the ride! It's all about Him! All I'm asking that you pray & be obedient!
