So, many of you know that my DTS (Discipleship Training School) was deemed THE BEST DTS EVER by most everyone that spoke to or hung out with our school. It is hard to believe that we started our school 7 years ago. I will forever be grateful to our school leaders, fellow classmates and speakers as this school changed the course of my life. I have always followed God's leading and know that He led me to Mexico for such a time as this. Fast forward 7 years and I am now finally staffing a DTS, well half-staffing anyways.
Photo by Lindsay Spang This school also deserves the title of Best DTS Ever. We have 49 students from all over the world seeking and pursuing a greater intimacy with God. They have currently had classes in Hearing & Recognizing God's Voice, The Nature & Character of God, and The Fear of the Lord. They are already into their 4th week of the school and I can't believe it is going by so fast. God is revealing Himself more and more to each of the students. This past Friday they heard their outreach options (Haiti/Dominican Republic, Uganda or Southern Mexico) and have been praying about where God wants them to go. I am so excited to see what all God has planned for this school.
I am so blessed to be working with these students and even more blessed to journey life with these 3 amazing girls. I get to hang with them, help them process all that they are learning and experiencing as well as just have fun. These girls are my one-on-ones. Maria, Dee and Rachelle are seriously the BEST girls to have as one-on-ones. They are fun, intelligent, and gorgeous. They are running after the Lord as hard as they can and they desire to see the world as He sees it. They are seeking fervently all that He has for them and falling more in love with their Savior everyday. I am so glad that I can be there to watch them grow, celebrate their victories and coach them through the hard decisions. I praise God that He has placed them in my path and is allowing me to do life alongside these incredible women of God.
