Sometimes I wonder if the students in the Little Builders Preschool at our YWAM (Youth With A Mission) San Antonio del Mar campus are really understanding & getting everything that we are trying to teach them. Some days we struggle just to sit still or to share our toys while others we are learning things like photosynthesis and chlorophyll (true story, my preschoolers know those words).
This morning as I was hanging out in class during free play, I noticed one of our toddlers in his classroom all by himself. I wandered over to see what he was doing since he seemed quite & content. (You all know what that means, right. Someone's up to no good.) As I approached him, I heard the sweetest thing!! He was singing the Color Song that the toddlers sing during their circle time. When his parents came to pick him up, I told them about his super cute song! They said that he had been singing that with every color he saw even when he woke up at 3 am and saw the lights on the microwave! They couldn't figure out what he was singing! So cute!!!
This is why I do what I do! I get to influence the lives of future world changers! These preschoolers & toddlers will grow up & teach others about the love of God, they will share the Gospel with the unreached, they will be doctors, lawyers, politicians, maybe even teachers! Only God knows what their future holds but I get to be a small part of the planning & shaping of that future!
