Sense, A Psalm by Sheril

Last night during our YWAM (Youth With a Mission) community meeting on campus we were challenged to write our own Psalm as an act of worship.  I've done this before but I think the last time was 8 years ago during my DTS (Discipleship Training School). (I'll try to find it & type it up for you to read) We had about 10 minutes to write and while it took me a few minutes to get started, once I did, the words just started flowing out of me.  

I have never really been that great at writing poems.  To me a poem should rhyme. (The sky is blue, the car is too ...) But writing this Psalm, it felt like a poem to me. So I decided to type it up & put on some fun print like a poem.

Since this Psalm kinda seems a bit sad, I was reflecting on why this would be my heart's cry. I remembered then the financial struggles I wrote about yesterday and it became clear. I have been frustrated, hurt, and struggling. And it is hard, this path & journey I am on to continually live by faith not knowing where my next "paycheck" will come from.  But as God proves over and over again, He never changes, He is ALWAYS good & faithful and He will ALWAYS provide what I need exactly when I need it.
