So I know many of you are wondering what is next for me. I have just completed my second year of leading the Mission Adventures ministry in Ensenada Mexico through YWAM San Diego/Baja and am coming down to my "sit back and relax" time of the year. After MA was over, I went home to Alabama to visit friends and family and gain some refreshment and restoration. Well as I was thinking and praying about what to do next, I felt God was leading me to explore the option of the newest secondary school coming to Ensenada's YWAM campus. This school, called the Biblical Core Course (BCC for short), is an intense 12 week look at how to dig deep into the Word and find out what it is really talking about. This course teaches history and culture so we can have a better understanding of why the authors of each book wrote some of the things they did and why Jesus chose to use certain parables. Once we have a better understanding of who they were writing to and what they were writing about, we will be able to apply these scriptures to our lives today.
I am very excited about this school and am looking forward to all that God has to reveal to me during these next 12 weeks. I have always enjoyed better understanding Scripture and being able to apply its principles to my own life. i will be sharing with you some insights each week as I learn more from God's Word.
