Homes of Hope: Celebrities & Commoners

As you already know, every weekend Homes of Hope, a ministry of Youth With A Mission, partner's with businesses, churches, schools & families to build homes for families in need. Most of the time these are just your average joe coming to give of his or her time to bless someone else. Sometimes they are Christians & sometimes they are not. We treat everyone the same. They all receive the best that we can give them. This includes amazing meals, warm showers, soft beds with comfy sheets, pretty awesome snacks and an incredible experience.

On the rare occasion, we get to partner with real life celebrities. We may build with some Olympic Gold medalists or NFL stars or a house mom. This past weekend we were able to join Spectra Company and MORE than Sport (a group of professional athletes who want to give back & realize there is more to life than just their sport) to provide 2 families with a new place to lay their heads. Each time we go out to build a home for these families is an honor & blessing not only to the family & staff but to those who partner with us as well.
