This summer has been a whirlwind of exciting changes and adventures. It all started in April when I got a phone call while hosting a mission adventures team from Brett, our COO. He asked me to pray about moving to San Diego to take over the position of Mission Adventures Registrar. Little did I know that in just a few short weeks, I would be relocating my life and learning a whole new job.
Shortly after I moved I headed off for an adventure of my own. My friend and former roommate was getting married and I was able to attend and assist. How exciting to see their relationship from the beginning blossom into such a wonderful love and testimony to so many. I was able to catch up with both of my roommates (Adrienne and Aubrey) who I hadn’t seen in almost 2 years.
I left the wedding to visit some new-found friends in Portland, OR. I was able to stay with Coleman family and they truly are like family to me now. I was also able to join the Cedar Mill Bible Church youth group for a retreat. It was so wonderful to reconnect with this group and have a time of rest.
I travelled home for a short visit and then back to work, running full steam ahead and I haven’t stopped yet. I have been busy coordinating trips for teams going to Haiti, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic,Tijuana and Ensenada. I am working mainly out of an office but I am loving every minute of it!! Thank you so much for all of your support over the past 3 1/2 years. I can’t believe that I have been here that long. You guys ROCK!!
