This week I'm sharing/teaching in the DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Ensenada, my home away from my other home.

I'm sharing on topics like cultural differences, testimonies, conflict resolution, speaking through a translator as well as teaching dramas, songs, dances & VBS. It is amazing being home for the week.

Please keep me in your prayers as I share with these students that God would speak through me even in the midst of practical things.

Oh the things you do to stay connected to friends & supporters back home when you are a missionary.

I was recently issued a challenge by my good friend from Metro (my home church), Jennnifer Hall. The challenge, like so many before me, was to find myself in a cold, wet place within 24 hours.

Since I don't have control over many things & let's face it, I was procrastinating, I took a bit longer than 24 hours to Colette mine. But never fear, I don't back down from challenges this simple so below for your viewin pleasure is my acceptance of that challenge.

If you haven't yet seen these videos floating around Facebook, you probably don't belong to the Church Of God denomination, didn't attend Lee University or don't attend Metro Church of God. Trust me, they are out there. I even found a Facebook page dedicated to these videos!

I know many thought I might chicken out or that I had it easy cause I'm in Mexico & everybody knows it is so hot in Mexico. Nope, not the case! I rose to the challenge & yes, it was freezing. It was also pretty chilly outside as well.

I guess my students really have been listening & learning during circle time. Sometimes I don't think I'm getting through but then they do something like this. We had a special even on campus the other night and the kids decided that they needed to have circle time because they had just done clean up. In our regular class after the clean up song, we have circle time so totally made sense that they would want to have circle time after cleaning. 

These guys are way too cute and taught the rest of the kiddos like champs. I may be out of a job although when I mentioned that to one of the students stating that they were in charge for the next day, he asked, with an unsure look on his face, if I was going to be there. I guess they do still need me but maybe I'll just show up for moral support.
