YWAM (Youth With A Mission) International
YWAM believes the Gospel is not only God's Word but that it has to be put into everyday practice. Using different means and tools of evangelism we go out and share the Good News. For more information click HERE.
YWAM San Diego/Baja began in 1991 and was founded by Sean and Janet Lambert with a handful of staff and no real location to call their own. Fast-forward to 2009 where there are 4 operating locations and over 200 staff from 30 different countries. Every year they host teams from all over the world from various walks of life to participant in Homes of Hope, Mission Adventures and Training Schools. These teams are made up of business men, families, church groups, ministry teams, youth groups, schools, etc and work with the full-time missionaries to meet physical and spiritual needs of the people of Mexico. They build houses for poor needy families, they partner with churches to provide much needed supplies and support, and they minister on the streets to the drug addicts, homeless and prostitutes.

Mission Adventures
This is the main ministry that I have been involved in since I started with YWAM. Each Spring Break and Summer, our campuses are taken over by hundreds of young people with thier youth groups coming down into Mexico on short term mission trips. We provide a 7 or 8 day program including teaching, evangelism, home building and other practical outreach projects. We work with local churches, soup kitchens, orphanages, and rehab centers.

Círculo Andante
Círculo Andante, or the Walking Circle, is a childrens ministry that works to strengthen math and reading skills in a fun, safe and loving environment. Our main purpose is to guide children into a relationship with God as well as give them an opportunity to learn math and how to read. Our desire is to motivate the children to stay in school and teach them that they are intelligent and valued in the eyes of God. The Circle helps us continue in relationship with the families we build houses for and in that way, we have the privilege of seeing how their lives are changed after receiving a new home. Our desire is to make God known to our kids so that through the hearts of the children, the whole community will come to know the love of Jesus Christ..
Project Deborah
Project Deborah exists to help families with special needs children. Here in Mexico, there are many families with children who’ve been diagnosed with debilitating conditions such as Cerebral Palsy or Down Syndrome, many of whom do not have access to the medical treatment, support, or training that a family would have across the border in the United States. These families are often in very hopeless situations, but they have the desire to give their children a better life. Often times it is comforting just to know that they are not alone, and that there are other families who are dealing with the same things.
