One of the things that we love to learn and work on in our preschool is our Letters. I use the 70's Letter People to teach our students. It teaches the alphabet out of order and because of that it promotes letter recognition, letter sounds and introduces words that begin with that letter. As you go through the whole alphabet, it even introduces how letters fit together to make even new sounds. This is the beginning of reading so it is a very important aspect of any early learning center.

Because we are working on our letters and not just recognizing them but how to write them as well, I created this awesome Letter Book. Below is a sneak peak at today's FREEBIE.

These handwriting practice pages will help with fine motor skills, gripping their writing utensils, hand-eye coordination and making sure that students form those letters correctly. This is also a great way for 1st graders to practice their handwriting skills as well.

My Letter Book - The Handwriting Practice Pages: Pre-K & K includes:

2 different covers (1 color & 1 B&W) to choose from
1 practice writing sheet for each letter
instructions on putting the booklet together
an option to write each letter on lined space
an option to draw a picture to reinforce the letter sound

As you can see, there are many different ways for students to practice their writing. Each of these students are at very different developmental stages in their writing skills but each are able to use the Letter Book.
