Guest Blog Post from our friends over at ClassroomFreebiesToo.com! Hope you enjoy.
Alright, on to my freebie since you are here! Yay! Check it out:
How fun are these? I know this time of year is especially tough on all staff at schools with students ready for break, students grumbly because they just returned from break, and all the test prep and testing that is sure to commence soon. Staff morale really takes a beating this time of year, so I thought spreading a little cheer might be just the ticket to make it through a LONG April.
There are 10 different messages in total, but here are a couple just for fun:
Staff Candy Bar Awards are super simple to use!
1. Print out the free download in color or grayscale, preferably on cardstock, but regular paper works fine too.
2. Cut in half.
3. Grab some matching full-size or snack-size candy bars. {You might even be able to unload some of that extra Easter candy out of your house!}
4. Tape or staple them to the slip.
5. Place them in a deserving member's staff mailbox before or after school.
6. Feel great because you just put a smile in someone's day (and yours too)!
If you are budget strapped (most teachers are), ask your school PTO/PTA to chip in. I have never had a request like that denied. They are usually looking for fun ways to spend the money and supporting staff is always close to the top of their list! Or even ask your local grocery store - it is a tax write-off for them and I am sure they would be thrilled to help out with such an easy request.
Hopefully these fun little awards will brighten your day - and those that you are truly grateful for at work. Teachers need to support one another - even when it sometimes feels like no one else will. If I could send one of these to each and every one of you I would, but being that there are millions of teachers worldwide, I will have to trust you will be able to share the love in your school on my behalf. :)

AuthorI am on an amazing adventure traveling the world with Jesus. After 7 years of teaching preschool in Alabama, God called me to the mission field in Mexico full time. I led short-term missions trips for 6 years and the Lord opened the door for me to mix both of my passions, missions and teaching. I am now the director of Little Builders Preschool and we will soon be opening a full International K-12 school. The current students are missionary kids but will be open to the local community in the future. As a full-time missionary, I do not receive a traditional pay check. I rely on the generous support of friends, family & people like you. As any teacher does, much of what we use in our school is purchased by me out of my own personal funds. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our ministry and help our students reach their potential in education.
