Do you find that the closer we get to the end of the school year, the more we are trying to play catch-up? I find myself constantly creating or planning or prepping frantically the night before some event or holiday because I completely forgot about it. So many things happen at the very end of the year that aren't in the norm so I get out of my routine and end up missing things.
Grades, graduations, end of the year parties, evaluations, testing, the list goes on and on.
This time, however, I have thought well in advance (ok, only 2 weeks but still) about Father's Day. Mainly because someone asked me what we were doing for Father's Day. See, while most schools end during the last week of May or mid-June at the latest, we actually have classes until the End of June. We not only get to celebrate Moms during the school year but we also get to celebrate our Dads!! But that means yet another thing to plan for and add to the never-ending list of things to accomplish that don't fall in the norm.
I whipped up these super cute Father's Day cards for our Toddler Classes to color & give to their dads during our Donuts with Dad party in a few weeks. They turned out so cute I decided to give them to you, for FREE!! Since one of our main ministries here is construction, I decided to use tools for our cards.
Until next time, friends.
PS, I created a new instagram account {@theunconventionalclassroom} just for my classroom stuff. Head over there & follow along as we figure out how to educate in The Unconventional Classroom.
